The Market Tote in Natural Buttero

This beautifully hand-stitched Market Tote is crafted from Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather in Natural and Camel Buttero and lined with indigo dyed Ikat woven cotton fabric.

The Market Tote features brass stud feet, adjustable handles with brass button studs, a single brass D-ring and a secure magnet clasp closure.

This original design has no side seams and uses one single piece of leather for the main body. A complimenting camel colored bottom panel completes the design. Handles are in glossy Maremma leather in cognac.

The perfect everyday bag, The Market Tote measures 13.5” at the bottom, 17” wide at the top, 10” high and 5” deep.

Buttero leather was created by the Walpier tannery and named after the original Italian cowboys called the “butteri”.

Natural Buttero leather will develop a darker, shiny patina with use and exposure to the sun. Pictured is our Envelope Clutch in Natural as a perfect pairing, and also to show an example of how this leather will become a lovely golden tan.

The Market Tote has been exquisitely crafted with waxed thread and saddle stitch for years of enjoyment.
