The Market Tote in Olive Buttero

This beautifully hand-stitched Market Tote is crafted from Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather in stunning olive green Buttero with tan colored waxed thread.

The lining is made using indigo dyed Ikat woven cotton fabric that has been interfaced for strength.

The Market Tote features adjustable handles with brass button studs, a single brass D-ring and a secure magnet clasp closure.

This original design has no side seams and uses one single piece of leather for the main body. The bottom panel with brass stud feet completes the design. Handles are in glossy Maremma leather in cognac color.

Named in honor of the original Italian cowboys, the “butteri”, Buttero leather is a firmer smooth, full-grain leather that will develop a shinier patina as it ages.

The Market Tote is the perfect everyday bag and measures 13.5” at the bottom, 17” wide at the top, 10” high and 5” deep. The bags edges have been burnished and polished by hand.
